I've rounded up a few of my favorite snacks, apps, and party food, JUST in time for the Super Bowl! Most of these recipes are Paleo/Whole30 (except for the BBQ Chicken Pizza), but ALL of them are non-whole30-er approved and delicious! So if you're trying to keep things pretty clean after your January Whole30 but need something to take to a party, give one of these a shot!
HOW many times do I have to tell you... making healthier food choices does not have to be boring!
Italian Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
This has been one of my favorite dinners lately, but I'll be stuffing regular mushrooms (instead of portobellos) for the big game! People looooove stuffed mushrooms, and the homemade italian sausage in these takes them over the top.
BBQ Chicken Pizza with Sweet Potato Crust
This sweet potato pizza crust is made with leftover almond pulp (from making almond milk). It's flourless, gluten-free, and squeaky clean and SO GOOD. You can use the crust as the base for ANY pizza (or sandwich)!
Veggie Tray & Whole30 Dump Ranch
When all else fails, go with a veggie tray! You can whip up a batch of homemade ranch dressing and pair it with ALLL the veggies: carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, cherry tomatoes. The possibilities are endless.
Sweet Potato Wedges with Red Curry Aioli
Sweet potato fries and wedges are perfect for standing around, chatting, dipping, and snacking! These are best when they get a liiiiitttttle burnt, and the sweetness of the sweet potatoes pairs perfectly with the spicy and creamy dipping sauce.
Buffalo Chicken Salad
This is one of my all-time favorite lunch meal prep recipes, but it also makes perfect party food! Fill celery sticks with this buffalo chicken goodness for easy-to-pick-up-and-mingle snackage. You can either use canned chicken or baked chicken!
Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Chili
This chili is loaded with carrots, celery, onions, red bell peppers, garlic, Frank's Red Hot and CHICKEN. Throw it in the crock pot and it will be ready by game time!
Grilled Chicken Wings
It might be a little cold out for wings, but you could bake them and STILL use these two delish flavor combos: buffalo ranch and garlic basil! Don't forget the homemade ranch!
Taco Twice Baked Potatoes
You can prep these potatoes the day before, then bake them when you need them! Serve them up with all of your favorite taco fixins: good ol' iceberg, chopped onions, avocado, jalapenos, tomatoes, and Avocado Dump Ranch!
Sloppy Joe Sweet Potato Sliders
Everything is better in slider form! I'll admit these sliders are a bit messy, so best eaten with a fork. But sloppy joes are classic party food, so I couldn't leave this one out! I made 'em exxxtraaa sloppy for ya!
Whole30 Spinach Artichoke Dip
This dip gets its creaminess from cashews and homemade mayo! It's a healthier twist on the classic, and you won't even miss alllll the cheese.
